My only nos are major age gaps involving underage characters and pregnancy/oviposition type things. Otherwise you can talk to me but as a whole I will always be gung-ho for violence and gross. Shiraz is definitely M but he's too stupid to realise that and has a horrible temper, so I'm sure we can arrange w/e...

| Appearance |
|
| Tall and slender, Shiraz looks very delicate and fragile and rather pretty, except that he's covered in horrible scars. He looks like he's been chopped up and reassembled repeatedly, and as if he has no regard for his own safety, which are both true. An essentially modular combat biodroid ("doll"), he's been damaged and repaired and had parts added and removed far more times than he actually remembers, given his memory is reset periodically. He is however remarkably physically strong! If you do take him apart you'll find that his brain and a smattering of organs are still living flesh, but everything else is robotic. He feels uncomfortable with his shoulders covered as he feels it restricts his movement and just feels stuffy, so he'll p much always be wearing smth sleeveless, but otherwise full coverage. |
| Background |
|
In a post-apocalyptic world, the brains of dead people (soldiers?) were used to develop autonomous combat weapons called Dolls. Shiraz is one such murderbot -- he doesn't remember his human life, nor does he remember most of his robot life or anything about the world at large. Each time his squad is awakened for a mission, they forget what's gone on before. Or sometimes they do, anyway, but in Shiraz' case it happened p recently so his memories are extremely limited. He's part of a squad called Team Grenadine, and they go on missions to kill shit and repair comm towers and y'know. Whatever is needed by the robot army.

| Personality |
|
Shiraz is mainly summed up by two simple traits: he's dumb, and he's angry. Both impulsive and unobservant, Shiraz is much more useful as a tank and a damage-dealer than as any kind of intelligence. He's stubborn and distrustful of strangers even when it's clearly going to cause him trouble, but he'll follow orders from his squad and superiors without thinking about it at all. His answer to most problems is just hit it until it listens, or step back and play guard dog while the smart people figure it out.
When things don't go well, or when he's presented with confusing and frustrating situations, Shiraz gets mad. Grumpy and standoffish from the getgo, when pressed he snaps, sometimes verbally and sometimes physically, though he has enough sense not to attack innocent people even if they're annoying. He's not malicious by nature, or evil, but he has very poor emotional control and lashes out under pressure, which can sometimes backfire on his loved ones when he does things like, say, insult someone pointing guns at them. That, at least, he regrets -- to Shiraz, his squad are the only people of worth in the world. He loves them, and sees himself a merely a shield for their success and safety. He absolutely loathes himself, aware that he's done something horrible in the past to atone for, but unable to remember exactly what that was. Given this vague memory and his specs as a front-line class who can easily be repaired and who gains power when damaged, his self-image is deeply crippled -- he is merely "junk" that exists to protect his squad.

| Contact/Notes |
|
Thank you for reading, those of you who have! I can be contacted via discord at Cleo#9893 or on plurk at gralsritter if you have any questions or concerns. As Shiraz is from a tabletop game with built-in amnesia and mod-defined backstories, I won't be developing his story more, so please enjoy him as he is! |
